Contexto
Security camera footage captured an incident that occurred on May 17, 2026, around 3:00 p.m. local time at a commercial establishment, where a man broke in and caused a disturbance.
According to the footage, the man entered the store, threw objects on the floor, broke shelves, and struggled with the owner, a woman who tried to defend herself.
The aggressor was subdued seconds later by several young people who were passing by.
Two of them executed a double flying kick that struck the man and knocked him to the ground, after which the group subdued him with multiple blows.
The video shows several women present, including the owner and others wearing traditional clothing such as hijabs, attempting to stop the beating once the assailant was subdued.
The man ended up lying on the sidewalk in front of the store as the bystanders left.
As of now, there is no confirmed official information regarding the assailant's identity, his condition, or any potential legal action by Indonesian authorities.
