Contexto
A traffic accident on the road connecting Pajapita and El Tumbador resulted in one fatality.
The victim was identified as Randy Paul Barrios López, 28, a resident of the Nueva Pajapita housing development.
Barrios López, who was riding a motorcycle, collided with a soft drink delivery truck that, according to witnesses, was parked on the side of the road.
Firefighters from the Pajapita Municipal Departmental Fire Department's Station No. 12 arrived at the scene and provided pre-hospital care.
The young man was transferred in critical condition to the National Hospital of Coatepeque, where he died upon admission due to the severity of his injuries.
